Jo Crosby completes London Vitality 10,000

A massive Well Done to Jo Crosby who took part in the London Vitality 10,000 on May 27th 2019 to raise money for Pregnancy Sickness Support. This was Jo’s first ever 10km race and she went from ‘couch to 10k’ in under 12 weeks to complete the race and raise over £600. Jo suffered from hypermesis gravidarum in both her pregnancies in 2013 and 2017 and has previously written about her experience and the work of Pregnancy Sickness support in The Independent, International Business Times and Instyle magazine.

“My total previous running experience was a Race for Life back in 2006 and I had a very tight training schedule, so this was a huge challenge. But I am so thrilled to have completed the race and to have raised so much for Pregnancy Sickness Support. The huge amount of work this small charity does really is incredible and invaluable. As there is strong evidence of a genetic link, I want to help improve the treatment for women suffering with HG so my daughter never has go through what I (and so many other women) did.’”

A massive well done and thank you to Jo for stepping up to the challenge despite her minimal training and for raising such a fantastic amount for Pregnancy Sickness Support!
