Dan Slater faces Europe's Toughest Mudder

On 18th May 2019 Dan Slater took part in Europe’s Toughest Mudder - in preparation for this he completed Born Survivor 2019 Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire!

"Yesterday I completed 2 laps of Born Survivor at Capesthorne Hall which totalled 20km! This was my final big training before Europe's Toughest Mudder on Saturday. It was my first big warning of how hard the challenge will be. It was very cold and a long way....and next week I'll be doing this many times over and through the night; the wet suit will definitely come in handy! Time has come to pack my things ready for the weekend...I certainly didnt realise how much I would need! 6 days to go and I'm feeling excited but nervous at the prospect of keeping myself going for a full 12 hours, this said, knowing that every lap I complete will raise money for this incredible charity will help me push on harder."

Just one week after Born Survivor Dan took on his biggest challenge at Europe’s Toughest Mudder:

“Europe's Toughest Mudder...completed it mate. So happy to achieved my target of 30 miles. Ice baths, wading through a creek with water up to the chin, and not being able to see 3 foot in front of you because of the fog, it was #epic, but bloody freezing! A lot of training went in to get there, and I've enjoyed my journey getting there. Your body will take you where mind thinks it can get to. So happy to of raised over £500 for @pregnancysicknesssupport, thinking of what these women go through got me through it. That was just a walk in the park, compared to #hypremesisgravidarum. Massive thank you to everyone that has donated. And a huge thank you to Darren Nicholls for being an awesome pit man. Kept us fuelled and utter pro at getting someone into a wetsuit!”

A massive well done and thank you to Dan for completing these mammoth challenges and for raising such a fantastic amount for Pregnancy Sickness Support!
